Have you recently received a cheque or bank transfer to the amount of £12,000?
That's how much every adult in the UK should have received had the covid 'furlough' cash been evenly distributed.
So, where did it all go?
OTS knows nothing about high finance, stock market speculation, cryptocurrency or anything of that nature.
But we do know a voice of reason when we hear one.
So we present an interview which we believe should be viewed, digested and discussed by anyone who has children, grandchildren, or hopes to have a family in the near future.
Have you ever heard of Gary Stevenson?
No, neither had we.
But we have now and we urge everyone to listen to what he has to say.
Stevenson started his career by winning a trading competition, securing him a position as a young trader at Citigroup. (He speaks about how he got started in the interview and, as noted by the host, it is worthy of a Netflix series.)
He soon became a highly successful short-term interest rate (STIRT) trader, known for his large trading volume (sometimes reaching nearly a trillion dollars daily) and this success led to him becoming one of Citigroup's top performers and accumulating significant wealth, including a bonus that allowed him to retire at the young age of 27.
Despite this financial success, Stevenson became disillusioned with the world of finance and the growing wealth gap he observed. He left his trading career, using his experience and knowledge to campaign for economic reforms, particularly regarding wealth inequality.
Gary now runs a YouTube channel called "Gary's Economics" where he discusses economic issues, particularly focusing on wealth inequality and the impact of economic policies on individuals. He advocates for policies like wealth taxes, arguing that they are necessary to address economic inequality and improve the lives of those left behind by the current system.

Gary's message - and this is clearly a young man on a serious mission - is one that many will not want to hear. It will generate fear in those who do not own their own home and it may even arouse guilt in those who feel 'comfortable'.
But his message, however disturbing, should not be ignored.
With that in mind we urge readers to take on-board what he is saying and share it as far as possible.
