The perjury issue has nothing to do with the verdict. People clearly lied. The jury understood that. Had the media reported the trial honestly, people would long ago have known this. How can you be the victim of attempted rape when you arn’t in the same building as the “rapist”?

This isn’t about sexual abuse. It’s about trying to jail a man, using illegal means to collect ‘evidence’ only for 2 courts to prove it was illegal and false. This case, these women, are to blame if women now fear speaking out for fear of not being believed.
I dont see not guilty as proof of perjury. But it does clear Salmond of guilt. There was no appeal. Two women have been accused of perjury. Different issues.
