Why Are So Many People Dying in Scotland?

This is not Question Time, First Minister, this is Answer Time.

Nicola Sturgeon & co held daily COVID-19 briefings, where she would read out the daily death tolls from ‘COVID’. One death from Covid, was one death too many – she would say as she passed on her empty condolences. This went on for over 2 years

What is going on?

National Records of Scotland (NRS) have just confirmed a 66th consecutive week of Excess Deaths in Scotland – going back to February 2022.

Not even during the ‘pandemic’ years did we see such prolonged periods of excess death. The spike in deaths during ‘Wave 1’ and ‘Wave 2’ were actually followed by periods of negative excess. This would be expected, due to the pull forward effect of deaths in the vulnerable occurring early.

What we see now however, is 15 consecutive months of non-covid Excess Deaths – with an increase across all age ranges. Why is that?

More importantly, why is no-one speaking about it?

Where are the media briefings from the First Minister, the Heath Secretary & the Chief Medical Officer?

Figure 1: 66 consecutive weeks of Excess Deaths in Scotland (28/2/2022 – 5/6/2023) The NRS have confirmed 2,684 Excess Deaths in Scotland during 2023 (to end of week 22). This represents a 10.2% increase on the 5 year average (5YA),which now includes the ‘pandemic’ years of 2021 & 2022.

Again, the question must be asked – why are so many people dying in Scotland?

A breakdown of the 2023 mortality data for Scotland makes for interesting reading:

Figure 2: Excess Deaths in Scotland by Cause (2/1/2023 – 5/6/2023) Of the 2,684 excess deaths reported so far in 2023, only 817 (30%) involved ‘COVID-19’.

Figure 2: Excess Deaths in Scotland by Cause (2/1/2023 – 5/6/2023) Of the 2,684 excess deaths reported so far in 2023, only 817 (30%) involved ‘COVID-19’.

This means that 1,867 (70%) of the excess deaths did not involve COVID-19.

The leading cause of excess deaths were in ‘OTHER’ & Circulatory deaths. The increase in circulatory deaths is particularly interesting, given that known side effects of the COVID-19 vaccines include; blood clotting & heart inflammation.

Correlation does not equal causation of course. Except when it does.

Even more terrifying is the mysterious rise in ‘OTHER’ deaths, with an extra 1,224 deaths reported to ‘OTHER’ this year in Scotland, which is a 20% increase on the 5YA.

A Freedom of Information (FOI) request to the Scottish Government asked what was causing the excess deaths in 2023 and what this mysterious ‘OTHER’ included. The response below is frightening:

“Regarding the cause of these excess deaths, the largest underlying cause of non-COVID-19 excess deaths in Scotland in 2023 has been “Other causes”, followed by Circulatory deaths. The “Other causes” category includes a wide range of causes, from endocrine and metabolic diseases to diseases of the digestive system to external causes of death (e.g. drug-related deaths, accidents, suicides). It also includes deaths which have an unascertained cause whilst being investigated by the Procurator Fiscal...”

Figure 3: FOI extract response from Scottish Government on Excess Death cause During the ‘pandemic’ years. Nicola Sturgeon & co held daily COVID-19 briefings, where she would read out the daily death tolls from ‘COVID’. One death from Covid, was one death too many – she would say as she passed on her empty condolences. This went on for over 2 years.

We now have ~20 excess deaths per day, with no explanation and no daily briefings from our First Minister Humza Yousaf.

The elephant in the room has to be addressed.

Are the COVID-19 jags causing people to die in Scotland? Are the excess deaths now being driven, not by COVID-19, but by the COVID-19 response – including the jags? This is not Question Time, First Minister, this is Answer Time.
